Do you suffer from depression? Has your life been forever changed by something you'd never really thought about before, like getting depression. For so many people this is their story, however so many are also not aware that there are some simple natural depression cures that can be very effective.

There is an assumption that depression is a condition that can only be tackled by health professionals, that it will only respond to pharmaceuticals. And for this reason so many people end up on an endless circle of drugs which are supposed to treat your depression but may at times be as bad as the depression itself.

Is you life like this? Have you ended up on one drug after another? Do you suffer from insomnia? Have you put on weight? Do you find that one drug just seems to lead to another to combat the effects of the first drug? That some of these drugs are addictive?

Do you feel sometimes that the cure is worse than the cause? That your life has been taken over by drugs? That you don't want to feel medicated any more?

It's not uncommon to feel like that. Once your diagnosed with depression it can be one long slippery slope of pharmaceuticals. But not everyone needs to feel like this, because there are sometimes some simple natural depression cures that can make a big difference.

And this doesn't even mention the cost of all those drugs. The cost can add up to the point where, for some, bankruptcy is the only option. Would you like to reduce those constant bills?

There are some simple natural depression cures that can cost way less than those drugs, often nothing. They are not addictive. I'll give you 2 quick examples out of many.

Number 1. Did you know that since the end of last century many studies have shown an inverse correlation between the intake of fish and the rate of depression? It's true. There is a clear pattern. Societies of people who eat more fish have much lower rates of depression. Much lower. And we don't eat as much fish as we did, and our depression rates are skyrocketing. Studies are now showing strong reasons to include more Omega 3 fatty acids in your diet to treat depression. Work is still continuing.

Number 2. There is a strong link between increasing exercise and lowering depression. There are chemical and psychological reasons why this is so, but it works.

Of course I can't guarantee if you eat more fish and start jogging you'll cure your depression, there's many different causes and cures, but there are also many many natural depression cures and if you try a range of them you may well track down one or more that work for you.

Most are cheap, many free, so you'll save a lot of money too.

You owe it to yourself to try some simple natural depression cures. You can integrate them with your mainstream medical treatments with your doctors advice. Some of them are even good for many other areas of your health as well as your depression. So you can only get healthier, and this alone may be enough to improve your condition.

So if drugs aren't working for you and you feel drugged out and broke, see if you too can benefit from some simple natural depression cures.

You've got nothing to lose but your depression. I have a book about these natural depression cures on my website.

Need a simple Natural Depression Cure? Grab Susans book about how to Cure Depression Naturally.

Looking around today we come across an end number of people who are suffering from anxiety disorders. Generally the person suffering from this disease gets symptoms like increased heart beat, uneasiness feeling and reduced memory. The situation gets so worse that the person even forgets what he wanted to say at another second.

In most of the cases it is seen that the people are unable to diagnose these symptoms of anxiety disorders and anxiety attacks and they take them lightly. This is where the real trouble starts. Without proper diagnosis of the problem, it is impossible to get the right treatment and so it is very important for a person to know well about anxiety disorders and attacks and their treatment.

When the body functions in a strange manner according to the symptoms mentioned above, the person may wonder why. This is because the people suffering from the problem are not aware of their ailment. In such cases, the people then visit a doctor to understand the problem. After being examined by the doctor, the people are then informed that they are suffering from anxiety disorders or attacks.

Well, in order to cure this disease ample of remedies are available in the market these days. Out of all these remedies, some possess very harmful effects on the body and thus are avoided by the doctors. But still there are some medicines which are very prevalent today. Although such medicines have the side effects they could be ingested safely under proper supervision of a doctor. These medicines are prescribed one and some states have made strict rules regarding the sale of them. According to these, such drugs could not be sold without any prior prescription of a certified doctor.

One of such medication, which is prescribed by the doctor, is alprazolam. This particular medication is also known as Xanax. This drug helps to strengthen the neurotransmitter (GABA) that reduces the receptiveness of human nervous system.

Alprazolam relaxes the muscles of the body and calms the mind. In addition, the passage of exciting messages to the brain is stopped by GABA. With the use of this medicine, the person suffering from anxiety disorders or attacks gets sleep easily and this is a good relief for him.

But there are many side effects associated with this drug too. Under the tranquilizing effects of this remedy, patients tend to forget their body functions. So, it becomes crucial to avoid ingesting this medicine while working on machinery, driving or any such work that requires complete mental alertness. Moreover, the ingestion of this remedy provides relaxation to the body along with loosing up the body muscles which again becomes quite risky if the patient does the work that requires muscle power under the influence of this drug.

The popular medicine that is used to cure anxiety attacks is Xanax. This drug is also spelt as Zanex. These medicines offer relaxation to the brain and the person feels happy. However, the main side effect of this medicine is that addiction to this medicine is very fast. Hence, these medicines should not be consumed for a prolonged period and should be taken only after proper consultation of a doctor.

About the Author: Joe Z. Wright is an expert on the zanex pills and you can buy zanex medicine to treat anxiety disorders and depression.

Do you think maybe you have depression? How to spot the signs of depression are something you need to think about then. Many symptoms can be present, from lack of sleep, or even sleeping too much, but still feeling tired.

Learning how to spot the signs of depression is as simple as learning more about the disorder. Something you can do through education and reading up on depression as often as you have time. Not being interested in things that you use to do, that's another sign.

Depression isn't always just about wanting to kill yourself though. You may simply just wish that you would die, not having to complete the act yourself even. Not caring if you got into a car accident or anything would happen.

Low sex drive or not wanting to have sex in general is normally a sign of depression as well. Eating very little may show that you're not feeling quite up to par. But some people may even experience a gain of weight from depression.

Suicide is part of depression as well. The thoughts will hit you for no reason at some times. It could be a good day where you're feeling fine, but all of the sudden you wonder what it would be like to be dead. That way you wouldn't need to worry about anything else. Normally even the thought of loved ones will not help out in this case.

Medicine can be used to help out many of these symptoms, but it can be a long road. Most medicines that they will have you try will take around three to four weeks to get into your system. Which means you will need to put up with the way you're feeling for a bit longer.

What is even worse is fighting those feelings of not being good enough for another three or four weeks only to have the medicine not work. Then you will need to start all over and try yet another type of medicine. Most important during this time is to seek out a therapist and talk through those problems.

Finding a friend who is available to talk to would be a good choice as well. One who will answer anytime you call and be able to talk you through the depressed feelings. You will have at least one person in your life to do that, good friends are like that. This person will be one of your closest friends and know how to make you laugh even when you feel like crying.

Think of joining a site online where you can talk to others as well who are depressed. They will know exactly how you feel, and allow another outlet of help in times of need. It may be a long road to see what medicine will work best for you, but always try and stay positive. Go to the therapist and talk out those problems as well.

Is someone you love suffering from the signs of depression? End Depression is a resource that will show you how to spot the signs of depression, how to deal with depression symptoms and how to prevent them from returning.

When doing standard therapy for depression many issues show up and it is difficult to navigate through them. Working through these issues one by one can take many years. Even if eventually successful with these issues, in many cases the depression still does not go away. There is a good reason for this. But there is another kind of therapy, which is both fast and deep. It resolves not only the issues but the underlying depression in one fell swoop.

The source of most emotional and mental suffering is the blocking of your intuition. When you were young and this natural insight was alive, you were happy and playful. But circumstances somehow led you to decide to block your intuition. This blocking then became a subconscious habit.

Intuition is the source of your energy and happiness. When you block it, you don't have a connection to your true self. You don't know what you like, what you don't like...

Why would a person block his intuition? If, as a baby, you intuitively feel that you need the support of a parent and it is not given, you suffer greatly. This hunger for support is mental torture. In order to avoid it you teach yourself to not trust what you feel. As you keep avoiding listening to your true self you lose the connection to who you are, what you want, what you like

Now you are without the natural flow of intuition. There's no feeling of being alive. And it's easy to decide that life isn't worth living. Usually people believe that depression is a special kind of mental illness or suffering. But the truth is that it comes from the same thing that all other kinds of mental suffering come from: the blocking of intuition.

When you learn how to unblock your intuition, you start feeling alive. There is a special way of using art in therapy sessions which enables the unblocking of intuition. It provides your intuition with a clear path to the surface. As this happens, your intuition itself guides you to a new way of being. Your suffering begins to dissolve and you become happier. Amazingly, and unlike most talking therapies, all this happens very quickly.

When you intuition is blocked other secondary issues are created. For example, because you are not receiving or fear losing the love and support of your parents, you become afraid of being open and honest with them. Instead you learn to grab their attention by throwing tantrums. Deep inside you know what you are doing and start disliking yourself. As you can see, it gets more and more complicated.

Some people, out of their frustration at not being able to have what they want, will start to be aggressive toward others and some will turn their anger and frustration inward and punish themselves. These issues seem to be separate from the depression and many times become the focus of the therapy. But as they are secondary issues that came about because of the initial blocking of intuition, it is impossible to resolve them satisfactorily without dissolving the blockage first.

With the use of intuition in art therapy it is possible to bring the root cause to the surface right at the beginning of the therapy and dissolve it successfully. When we do this first, the anger and self punishment, along with many other possible secondary issues, become useless to the patient. They dissolve by themselves and there is no need to deal with them at all. This is how powerful intuitive art therapy is for depression.

There is not a person in the world that lays in bed at night hoping they will experience an anxiety attack at some point in their life. Unfortunately, these kinds of things do happen and they can ultimately take over your life. In order to stop anxiety attacks from happening to you, here are five questions you will want to ask yourself.

- Are you facing too many responsibilities? Stress is perhaps the number one cause for anxiety attacks occurring. There is no question that overloading yourself with responsibilities and tasks to take care of can take a toll on you. Do yourself a favor and spread out the number of responsibilities you decide to take on. Not only will it allow you to take a breather from time to time, but you will find yourself working far more efficiently.

- Do you need a helping hand? There is nothing wrong with asking for help every once in awhile. No matter what it is you need help with, do not be afraid. There is always someone there to support you and lend a helping hand if you ask. The last thing you want to do is be too proud to ask for assistance from a friend or family member. Lighten your load and let someone assist you.

- Do people offer emotional support? Everyone needs emotional support to ensure they are doing ok and are on the right track. It can be difficult to face the constant stresses that arise on a daily basis. This is where it becomes vital you have someone to talk to. In order to stop anxiety attacks from happening to you, find someone that you can lean on when times get tough.

- Is fun in your agenda? No matter how busy your schedule is, it is vital you make time for some fun and entertainment. Loosening up and having a good time can release a great deal of pressure and completely eliminate any bottled up emotions you may be carrying around. Whether it is going out to watch a comedy, going to a bar with some friends or simply taking a walk in the park on a sunny afternoon, find something that you enjoy that can help you take your mind off of things.

- Are you taking care of your body? The final question you need to ask yourself in order to help stop anxiety attacks from becoming a constant problem in your life is whether or not you are taking care of your health. This entails getting enough sleep, exercising three to four times a week, eating right, and having some loads fun. While you certainly need to get your work done, taking care of your body is even more important, when you are dealing with your health and your enjoyment out of life.

Many people suffer in silence when it comes to an anxiety disorder. They simply see it as part of the job or the lifestyle they lead or they are totally unaware that it can be treated. The first step toward conquering and curing an anxiety disorder is to learn the typical signs of anxiety. When diagnosed, there are very effective therapies and relaxation techniques that can help restore those who suffer from anxiety disorder to a healthier, happier life.

If you have any suspicion that you may have an anxiety disorder, it's absolutely necessary that you learn about the signs of anxiety and its symptoms before having an anxiety attack. Coping with anxiety is a possibility, because people who have it can stop an anxiety attack from even starting, thanks to the use of therapy and medications.

Nausea, chest pains, difficulty breathing, and an increased heart rate are some of the signs of anxiety that characterize the beginning of an anxiety attack. It's common for people to think they are dying from a heart attack when they are hit by an anxiety attack. Regular anxiety attacks can have a traumatic effect of a person, and they are extremely real.

Signs of anxiety can pop up anytime and ruin your life if you aren't careful. This could leave you terrified of going out in public or attending events you care about. A lot of anxiety sufferers avoid getting the necessary treatment until it is too late and they wind up going to the emergency room believing that what they are undergoing is a heart attack. Think of the reaction when it turns out to be anxiety.

Treating an anxiety disorder will often involve combining such techniques as therapy and relaxation skills with a course of medication. Usually, doctors will treat the anxiety disorder with medications such as Ativan, or Xanax, to alleviate the worst physical signs of anxiety first.

One of the main things the therapist teaches you is how to recognize the signs of anxiety and how to cope with anxiety one day at a time. There are techniques you can learn that will help you to keep mild anxiety from escalating into an anxiety attack. With the completion of therapy under your belt, you might even be able to get off of your medication under your doctor's careful supervision.

If some of these symptoms are prevalent in your life then it is important to look for some professional advice on treating the problem. Don't be afraid to talk to a professional or be tempted to take care of it yourself. If anxiety is starting to affect your day to day functioning, you should try to get treatment as quickly as you can. Treatments for anxiety are not only readily available, your life could be changed for the better with the proper medication or therapy.

Many medications are available for anxiety disorders. Which medication to take will depend on the symptoms related to the specific disorder and the individual. Medication is the choice therapy for many anxiety disorders because it can often provide quick acting relief. Ativan, Klonipan, Xanax, or some other benzodiazepine can be used to receive more immediate relief. These medications are to be taken during an anxiety attack, when the patient needs help immediately. Doctors are cautious when prescribing this type of medication, though, as they can become highly addictive. This can lead to other mental health problems so care has to be exercised.

Medications prescribed for treatment of anxiety disorders are chosen based upon the anxiety symptoms that the patient suffers from. The class of psychotropic medications that has proven to be the most effective is the serotonin reuptake inhibitors such as Prozac, Zoloft and Paxil. By increasing the level of serotonin in the brain, these medications help to decrease mood fluctuations. However, keep in mind that, though they are almost universally effective, it will take several weeks before noticeable changes occur.

Depending on the medication your doctor prescribes, you can proceed on to other treatments for anxiety disorder. When administered properly, cognitive behavioral therapy and behavioral therapy can provide a great degree of relief to the stressful fear of anxiety disorder. People have been dealing with anxiety for millennia, and there are several techniques help you cope with stress and feel more calm.

Cognitive behavior therapy is among the most useful treatments for anxiety disorders. This form of therapy focuses on the concept that your thoughts will eventually control your behavior. A therapist will be able to work with the patient to change the thought patterns that produce the feeling of anxiety. By enabling a patient to think calm and non-anxious thoughts, this can help alleviate anxiety.

Applying cognitive behavior therapy in conjunction with prescription medication and sometimes relaxation techniques is a multifaceted treatment for anxiety disorders. Patients who acquire the cognitive skills taught through therapy feel like they have more control over their situation, which causes the feeling of anxiety or panic to lessen. This three pronged treatment to anxiety is a good method but each component should be seen for what it is. The therapy addressed the deep seated problem, the drugs solve the immediate anxiety.

Mental relaxation exercises, like meditation for example, or deep breathing, are effective treatments for anxiety disorder. These techniques can assist patients in understanding their unique problem and overcoming it. The benefits of learning relaxation techniques are innumerable and they can be used whenever needed. Meditation skills can take some time to learn, but if practiced regularly, they are very helpful.

When it comes to the range of treatments for anxiety disorder currently available, you will probably get the best results from combining several coping mechanisms that your therapist or doctor can recommend. Experimenting with combining your relaxation techniques should help you learn to handle your anxiety and panic problems faster and more efficiently.

If you are afflicted with an anxiety disorder, the key thing you will want to do is figure out a way to stop your anxiety. You just need to research the many ways to stop anxiety and decide what will work for you.

If you are uncomfortable embarking on a course of medication to stop your anxiety disorder, then communicate this to your doctor. Remember that medication doesn't have to be the first step to try to stop anxiety. In fact it shouldn't be as there are many other options open to you. Tell your doctor you'd like to skip that step, and he or she can offer you many other viable treatment options to stop anxiety.

There are cognitive and behavioral therapies that can assist you to stop anxiety. Behavioral therapy uses techniques like deep breathing and teaches the patient way to relax as a way to eliminate physical symptoms of anxiety (for example, rapid breathing or a racing heartbeat). Cognitive therapy helps the patient to recognize the kind of thinking and thought patterns that leads to the types of thoughts that cause anxiety and helps both to create new thought patterns and correct the old ones.

Severe anxiety can be a life limiting problem, so the sooner you can use techniques that are proven to stop anxiety the better. Some options include hypnotherapy to help ease subconscious pain or worry. Other people visit an acupuncturist and find that this ancient treatment of various pressure points help to relieve tension in the nervous system. Massage therapy is also a popular option for those with severe stress and tension.

Many people find that exercise helps to stop anxiety for them. Stick with low intensity exercises like yoga or tai chi, or even something more basic like stretching or walk can help stop anxiety. If you don't want to join a class or can't find a group, you should be able to find a DVD that will teach you the basic techniques.

Your anxiety may also be a result of food intolerances. Food intolerances are often ignored when designing a treatment plan to stop anxiety, but it is not unusual for someone who finds they have an intolerance to certain foods notice that their anxiety symptoms are ameliorated by removing that food from their diet. A food intolerance is not the same as an actual food allergy, which is why an intolerance will not be detected if testing for an allergy. If this is a problem for you, you should consider asking your doctor to recommend a nutritionist. A nutritionist will gladly help you set up a food diary as part of an elimination process and help you find out which foods may be increasing your anxiety.

Talk with your doctor about all of the medication and therapeutic options that you can draw on for treatment. Your doctor should be in an ideal position to advise you because he/she has access to your medical history, can examine various risk factors, cross-reference your symptoms with current research and treatment options, and explain the pro's and con's of the various treatments that are out there to stop anxiety.

If you have children, you may have already experienced separation anxiety. Separation anxiety is a common problem for children between the ages of 8 months and 1 year. Separation anxiety is characterized by a child starting to cry or even becoming hysterical when their parent leaves them with someone else.

A child with separation anxiety can be attached to one single person or may appear to be without any reason and totally random, with a change every week as to which person they do not want to be detached from.

One of the most troubling issues for parents is separation anxiety as when a child becomes so emotionally tied to the parent that they become extremely upset if someone else takes care of them or even if they do not have the parent in their immediate sight. The child's emotional tumult can take its toll on the parent, too.

Some children will often need more than just the presence of the chosen caregiver in the room to settle down. They will need physical contact such as being constantly held or in the care giver's lap. Whilst physical contact is essential for the emotional development of a child, a child with separation anxiety will crave this contact too much. It will get to the stage where it is impossible to get anything done around the house which can lead to other problems. Furthermore, separation anxiety will make leaving the child with someone else before going to work or simply to run some errands a daily struggle.

Parents should understand that a child's separation anxiety is a normal part of their development. It is not caused by parents being overly involved or neglectful in their child's life. Although not every child experiences this or the extent of the separation anxiety will vary, it is a normal part of your child growing up.

Try to set aside a specific time each day to work on the issue of separation anxiety. Perhaps after dinner each night you can tell your child that you are going out but will return shortly. Enter the house again in another five minutes or so, pretending that your child is not experiencing the same separation anxiety issues that may have been sparked by your initial departure. Be seated and busy yourself with reading, watching television or whatever activity you're used to and allow your child to approach you. When that happens, behave normally as if nothing transpired earlier and continue your normal routine. If you practice this consistently, your child will come to realize that you will always return eventually, and his separation anxiety should subside.

To help your child get past separation anxiety, it is helpful to actually separate from him or her more frequently on a regular basis. For instance, if your child becomes distraught each time you leave to go to work, you may be tempted to stay with him all the time when you are not at work. Instead, it may be wise for you to try something different.
