Natural Treatments For High Blood Pressure Are Available

Pulmonary hypertension is a fairly rare disease. Although not currently curable, pulmonary hypertension treatment exists that can relieve many of your symptoms and make you more comfortable.

PH affects the heart and lungs and is not a very common disorder. This disease occurs when blood vessels between the heart and lungs are constricted or blocked. The result is a spike in your pressure as your heart pumps harder to get blood through. The huge strain on the heart makes it become enlarged and cannot work efficiently or effectively. This usually brings on heart failure.

As with most acute or chronic illnesses, the first medical therapy is medication in the form of pills. You may need to take anticoagulants to prevent blood clots and let the blood flow more freely. Excess fluid in the body's tissue can cause swelling and make breathing more difficult. Diuretics are used to reduce that extra water. Vasodilators cause lowered blood pressure levels so your heart is not as overworked.

Pulmonary hypertension can also be helped by surgical procedures. Some cases are brought on by a clot in the pulmonary arteries. In that situation, the blockage can be surgically removed and your health will improve. If your illness progresses into both lung and heart failure, the prognosis is not good. If caught in time and the appropriate pulmonary hypertension treatment administered, it is unlikely this will happen, however.

A lung transplant performed by a surgeon is the only cure known today for pulmonary hypertension This is reserved for the most severe cases that have resisted all other medical efforts. There is a waiting list for lungs just like kidneys, and donors are fairly limited. If a donor lung is found and the transplant is successful, your heart will shrink back to its original size. Your symptoms should go away completely. Although it is a risky operation, it can save your life.

Natural treatments at home can also be useful in easing the symptoms of this affliction. Try to keep your stress levels down to prevent blood pressure spikes. Stay away from smoking and smokers. Smoke is one of the worst things possible for your heart and lungs. Keep yourself on a healthy diet with low salt intake and lots of fresh produce. Also, get plenty of rest so you don't feel as tired.

Pulmonary hypertension is a serious and often debilitating disease that can affect most anyone. While the only true cure is a lung transplant, pulmonary hypertension treatment does exist, and your doctor will guide you through the various treatment options.

High blood pressure can be a side affect of diabetes, the causes of diabetes can also cause high blood pressure.

Can Dizziness Be Cured By Lowering Blood Pressure

by Chrisitan Goodman

While in line for a show recently, my friend seemed to lose his balance slightly. He said he suddenly felt as thought he had stood up too quickly, although we had been standing for several minutes.

Since he said this was not the first time he had suddenly felt this way, we began discussing other factors. He learned that he was hypertensive a few months ago, which was also about the time he started noticing sudden dizzy spells.

While dizziness as well as headache, blurred vision and fatigue are all symptoms of high blood pressure, my friend had none of these symtpoms until it came up in a routine physical.

What is now known is that more times than not, it is actually low blood pressue that causes the dizziness. When blood pressure drops, dizziness ensues.

Research indicates that low blood pressure usually accounts for feeling dizzy.

The way in which blood pressure goes about dropping is less important than identifying that it is dropping. Dropping with a pattern of intervals unleashes the side effect, indicating a medical issue.

The main idea is to take your blood pressure readings exactly when you experience dizziness. It doesn't matter as much whether the readings are high or low. An ambulatory cuff will allow you to measure your blood pressure wherever you are.

I originally thought my friend might have vertigo since, by definition, vertigo is dizziness.

Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) is the most common type of vertigo. This is an inner ear disorder in which dizziness suddenly occurs when one bends one's head in a certain position.

Even though my friend's doctor failed to list out common side effects of his medicine (including dizziness), I knew better.

My friend didn't get concerned until he had his first prescription filled. There were several stickers on the bottle warning of dangerous side effects. Dizziness was at the bottom of the list as far as dangerous but it was still there.

My friend went around and around with his doctor until he finally insisted on being put on another medication. This took care of the dizziness but not the other new set of side effects. I then recommended my drug free program.

My friend was feeling better immediately. He was eventually able to lower his blood pressure naturally and convince his doctor to wean him completely off the medicine.

My High Blood Pressure program is completely natural and easy to get started. The truly amazing thing about my product is just how many thousands of people have been helped. If you suffer from dizziness or vertigo, I also recommend my Vertigo and Dizziness program!
