There are many different ways how to stop worrying as there are several reasons why people worry. Worrying is an emotional by-product of anxiety and fear for failure to face a certain situation. It is a form of emotional strain which is very normal for human beings, but a constant worrier for no obvious or logical reason is an illness.

Worrying is sometimes being illogical or unreasonable if there are no sound bases for such feeling or emotion. Most often emotional illness and mental disorders produce varied symptoms and signs. Usually, these are similar to those seen with physical conditions like fainting which may be a sign of panic disorder or low blood pressure.

Your outlook in life plays a dominant role in your physical capabilities, emotional condition and mental state. Excessive worrying may lead to paranoia which in extreme cases can be indicative of schizophrenia or drug abuse. There are also cases of destructive behaviors as symptoms which may include cutting or inflicting self-injury.

Paranoid people are hypersensitivity and have a tendency to be emotionally cold or aloof. The causes of paranoia are not clearly understood, and cure may not be easy for these people are reluctant to seek help and find suspicious of those who offer help. They may manifest several other related symptoms such as continual mistrust and suspicion.

This emotion is controllable if a positive attitude and reason prevails with a sound advice. A positive psychology injected to a negative mind is the best remedy. Paranoids may, however, undergo psychotherapy. The use of anti-psychotic drugs may also help them to gain better control of their feelings and function better in certain social conditions. This is a temporary relief though depending on the dosage. For worriers, the remedy is within the being of the affected person on how to stop worrying.

Fighting ADD/ADHD disorder is not a tough job if you have a will to do. Precautionary steps in keeping yourself aloof from foods attracting your attention are best solution. This would keep your body and brain well balanced.

The purpose of this week's article is to summaries the things that we have learned about brain function and to emphasize some of the most important insights. This will hopefully provide you with a 'big picture view' of this vital topic. I am going to do my best not to enter into too much technical detail while presenting this 'big picture'. This is why I am going to present the information in the form of the "Top 8 Nutrition Tips for Optimum Brain Function"

1. Maintain Balance: Keep it noted that brain is a complex and vital organ of human body hence it requires additional attention. It must be nourished properly. Good number of nutrients, vitamins and minerals are mandatory to keep your brain healthy so that it functions effectively. It is therefore necessary that you maintain balanced diet and don't concentrate on a particular category of food which creates other problems.

.|2. Don't let protein remain away: Our changing food habits have started showing severe effects on our bodies and minds. This negligence is found abundantly when you avoid taking protein intake or lessen its quantity. Your body can't perform its basic duties properly if your protein intake is not in appropriate quantity. Do you like vegetarian food? If the case is so, you need to be more cautious. At this situation you should have enough intakes of protein rich foods. You should take combination food which has balanced quantity of protein alongside other nourishing items.

3. Choose consistent energy supplying methodology: Our bodies can't perform effectively without being controlled by brain. As it is significant energy consuming part of our body at using approximately 20% of consumed energy, it plays greater role in the body. Brain should be supplied constant energy. When energy supplying process is continuous and balanced, its impact is seen for extended periods. Low-GI food is recommended to fulfill this particular aim. The foods release energy for longer periods and are good dietary options to nourish brain.

4. Take proper fatty intake in your food: Protection and membrane formation of our brains are possible through an appropriate intake of fats in our regular food items. Fats are pivotal in nourishing the brain. Omega 3, Omega 6 and 'pure' DHA are highly effective 'brain fatty acids which help it get nourished properly. Do you really want to improve your brain power? Apply best sources of fats in your diet so that they keep your brain charged.

5. Don't forget the vitamins and minerals: The human brain needs several kinds of vitamins and minerals in order to do its job of being the nerve center of the body properly. Some of the most important ones are: Vitamin E, B Vitamins, Vitamin C and Magnesium.

6. Keep yourself away from toxins and harmful substances: You should never, ever take foods which are laced with some sort of pesticide or the other. A few chemicals substances are least harmful but their excessive intake can prove fatal as they are very problematic. Some of these chemicals are particular artificial colours and flavours. The trans-fatty acids too are harmful as they are the byproducts of heating fats.

7. Take necessary supplements: Having balanced diet these days is a draconian task. Usually it is not possible to manage proper mixing of food ingredients so that nutrients, vitamins and minerals required for effective functioning of brain are achieved through diet. In such circumstances, it becomes mandatory to take extra supplements of a particular category of nutrients. Mostly trans-fatty acids and particular categories of vitamins are given as supplements.

.|8. Exercise for fitness: Exercising doesn't come in the category of 'nutrition tip'. Its importance is paramount for healthy body and mind. When you do regular exercising, your blood circulation keeps it warmed up which is of great benefit for brain too that must be provided with sufficient energy. It has been proved that storing of fat in the middle portion of the body not only hampers body growth but keeps your brain at low. It is at this context that exercise is crucial in reducing fat levels in the body.

The above mentioned discussion opens many layers of realities which are but part of our lifecycle. They are indeed part of our common sense. Interestingly people know them but don't follow them. Resultantly they remain 'fuzzy' and aimless. If you battle with ADD/ADHD symptoms, be cautious to keep your brain strengthened through best nutritious elements.

by Christian Goodman

Every time you have a fight with your spouse or your kids, you feel angry, your face gets red, your heart start pounding hard, and you even get a headache. If you take your blood pressure at that time, it will be alarmingly high.

As our emotion gets intense, our blood pressure shoots up. This is a natural reaction and once your fear or anger subsides, your blood pressure will return to normal levels. More often than not, high blood pressure is only diagnosed when it remains consistently high over a prolonged period of time.

The only way to know is to have it checked on a routine basis, once every couple of years as a bare minimum. If you have any of the following symptoms, you may indeed suffer from hypertension, or high blood pressure. Be aware you could also have high blood pressure without any of these symptoms; that's why it's so important to check your blood pressure regularly.

Dizziness Chest pain Headaches Shortness of Breath Blurred Vision or other visual abnormalities

People in the traditional medical system say that roughly 95%of high blood pressure is from unknown causes, and it is called essential hypertension. Such a big percentage is very alarming, but you can do something about it.

There are risk factors you can control and those you cannot. Examples of risk factors you can't control include your heredity, your age, and your race. The older you get, the greater your risk for developing high blood pressure.

Most commonly, hypertension occurs in men between thirty-five and fifty years old. In women, it commonly occurs after menopause. Also, if a family member has it, your risk of getting it is increased.

Your race also contributes to your chances of getting hypertension. African Americans have a higher tendency of developing it earlier and more frequently than Caucasians. You cannot control those risk factors, and you cannot do anything to change them.

But there are many areas you do have control over that have a direct impact on whether you'll develop high blood pressure. Eating too much salt, excess alcohol, sedentary lifestyle, obesity, smoking and stress all contribute to the development of high blood pressure. How many of those risk factors do you have?

High blood pressure, if left unchecked and untreated can lead to more serious health problems with long-term consequences, like brain, heart, and kidney damage. The eyes can be damaged as well if fragile blood vessels erupt in that area. Some of the dangerous health conditions that can develop because of high blood pressure include:

Irregular heartbeats, called arrhythmias Heart attack or brain attack (known more commonly as a stroke) Chronic kidney disease, ultimately resulting in kidney failure, requiring dialysis or transplant Hardening of the arteries, called atherosclerosis CHF - Congestive heart failure, a condition in which your heart becomes too weak to be efficient at pumping your blood.

The conventional way of treating hypertension is thru aggressive drug therapy, intended to push down your blood pressure, but with numerous side effects. However, more often than not, they do not even get the blood pressure down because like I said earlier, 95% of the causes of high blood pressure is unknown.

But I do so I've created a remarkable High Blood Pressure Program designed to drive down your blood pressure like what medicines do but without all the side effects.

The exercises are simple and takes very little time to learn and even less time to do. This program is a natural way to lower your blood pressure and helps you handle the stress that's so often the reason for your blood pressure problems. You can find out more about this amazing program here

by Marion Jones

Headaches of any kind are always very painful for the sufferer. However, some headaches, such as migraines, for example, can create even more problems than just a headache. These problems could be nausea, sensitivity to light and a throbbing pain in the head. Sometimes the headache is felt on one side of the head, and other times you can feel the pain on both sides of your head at the same time.

The real causes of migraine headaches has not yet been discovered, although there are some theories why people have migraine headaches. The most common theory is that a change in the blood flow within the brain is one of the triggers that causes migraine headaches. Another theory about migraine headache is that it could possibly be caused by pain sensing chemicals called neuropeptides.

Many medical professionals think that neuropeptides relax the muscle that surrounds the cranial blood vessels. This relaxation causes the blood vessels to dilate. The relaxed blood vessels increase the flow of blood and other cranial fluid to the brain. This increase in fluids is thought to be the cause of migraine headaches.

These cranial fluids cause swelling, pain, sensitivity, tissue and blood vessel swelling during the time of the migraine headaches. Some people think that the aura that is sometimes seen during a migraine headache is caused by the constriction of the blood vessels that became dilated during the starting period of the migraine headache.

Another theory about the reason for migraine headaches has been linked to genetics and inheritance. These theories say that a child of migraine sufferers will have a 50% probability of getting migraine headaches too.

The chances of having migraine headaches becomes even greater if both parents are sufferers of this painful type of headache. If both parents are known to have frequent migraine headaches the chances of the child inheriting migraine headache symptoms is about 70%.

Even though many professionals are persuaded that inheritance plays a big part in migraine headaches, the genes that are considered to be the causes of migraine headaches have not been identified or even isolated yet. When we start to experience migraine headaches the only warning signs that we may expect to receive are a throbbing pain in the temple area and slight sickness.

As the symptoms of the migraine progresses, the pain becomes much worse. Unfortunately, since the causes of migraine headaches have not been found and we don't know what triggers these attacks, there are no medications to cure this sort of headaches yet.

People that have an hysteria attack can also have what's known as a panic attack. These attacks can be due to various tensions that occur in life. Whilst having an attack of foreboding can be mild to severe, the attacks of panic are occasionally in the more grim range. Let's look more detail at both these categories of attacks to see what causes them and how they can be treated.

Many times we are able to get distressed over our private scenarios. This will cause us to be depressed and feel like life looks bleak. This depression can cause folk feeling anxiety and therefore they may experience a panic attack symptom or multiple panic attack symptoms, which can come with symptoms such as shortness of breathe, heart palpitations, and dizziness. These attacks are typically short-lived, but in some cases if not treated can turn into an attack of panic. A panic attack usually has a higher degree of fear associated with them than the attacks of anxiety. This will even include a feeling of apprehension that is just about paralyzing. Occasionally an attack of panic is bad enough that it can feel like a heart attack!

There are plenty for treatments today available for depression and attacks of anxiety or panic. They can range from simple meditation to talk therapies to medicines. Varying degrees of these issues have to have different treatments. Whilst meditation will work with mild forms of depression and attacks of stress, it customarily takes medicine and/or talk therapies for the more severe cases of these. A panic attack customarily is more severe by nature and will require the talk therapies and/or medicine to totally handle the problem. Of course the meditation can be used in addition to different types of treatment at all times.

Meditation is good for relaxing the mind and body. Once relaxed, the minor agitation attack or depression generally goes away. But with attacks of panic, meditation usually isn't effective enough, though it can still help along with other therapies.

Talk therapy, which is sometimes called psychotherapy, can be effective in several cases for depression, attacks of anxiety and panic too. It involves talking with a psychiatrist about the issue you are having. This professional can offer you many different kinds of this sort of therapy, one is thought of as cognitive behavior therapy. This kind of care targets your behavior helping you change whats causing your problems or issues. This has a high success rate particularly in phobias, which is another branch of the anxiety attack. Phobias can also produce a panic attack.

There are plenty of forms of medicines given out today for any one that suffers with the frequency of an hysteria attack, depression, or a panic attack symptom. While some of the side effects of these medicines can be heavy in some folks, they are still worth taking because they solve a much bigger issue, the sensation of panic. To paraphrase, folks get way too much relief from their symptoms with using them. This overshadows the complications anybody can have. So do not just suffer silently, you may find the correct treatment for you that can address your fear of having an hysteria attack or panic attack.

In the United States today high blood pressure has reached epidemic levels with more than 65 million people suffering from high blood pressure and another 45 million having a condition referred to as pre-hypertension. High blood pressure is a symptomless disease which raises your risk of heart attack and stroke and you could quite easily be suffering from it without any knowledge of it until it is too late

What if you had high blood pressure? There is the threat that you could be put on medication, which could be for the rest of your life. That doesn't sound very appealing, in fact, in reality it is not very appealing, especially when you take into account the amount of possible side effects that you could suffer from as a result of having to live with taking medication on a daily basis.

After studying the effects of several types of food on blood pressure, scientists have developed an eating plan called DASH " Dietary Approach to Stop Hypertension. DASH states that you should eat only fruits, vegetables, grains, fish and low-fat dairy products, and very few red meats, sweets and other foods that are rich in fats.

Its simple to lower blood pressure without medication, but always consult a doctor before deciding on a diet plan or on any natural method of lowering blood pressure.

Despite what you may have heard, prescription medications are not necessary in order to lower blood pressure naturally. There are dozens, if not hundreds of little things you can do to improve your cardiovascular health and improve your overall physical fitness.

Drink Water Recent research has indicated that chronic hypertension may be the result of severe dehydration, and that increasing water intake may be of benefit to people who are suffering from it.

If you happen to be overweight and have high blood pressure then you could lower it just by losing some weight. The kind of foods that we eat can also have an affect as well. So the bottom line is that it can boil down to your effort to make changes to your lifestyle or medication, which one will you choose.

In truth, it is often possible to lower your blood pressure quite quickly if you change your diet and begin exercising. That said, if youve not taken any exercise for a long time you ought not to suddenly start a vigorous exercise program and its always prudent to check with your doctor before beginning any exercise program.

by Christian Goodman

While in line for a show recently, my friend seemed to lose his balance slightly. He said he suddenly felt as thought he had stood up too quickly, although we had been standing for several minutes.

Since he said this was not the first time he had suddenly felt this way, we began discussing other factors. He learned that he was hypertensive a few months ago, which was also about the time he started noticing sudden dizzy spells.

Headaches, blurry vision, fatigue and dizziness are all possible symptoms of hypertension. In my friend's case though, he suffered from none of these until the diagnosis.

Additionally, much research on dizziness and blood pressure indicates that low blood pressure is generally the culprit. When the blood pressure drops, dizziness is a common side effect.

Researchers have proven that generally, it's low blood pressure that causes dizziness.

The fact that one's blood pressure drops is not so notable as how it drops. Is there a pattern of a suddend drop in pressure. Is this when the symptoms occur? This is likely an indicator of a much larger medical problem.

The main idea is to take your blood pressure readings exactly when you experience dizziness. It doesn't matter as much whether the readings are high or low. An ambulatory cuff will allow you to measure your blood pressure wherever you are.

Since vertigo (feeling that people or object around you are spinning when they aren't) is quite simply, dizziness. I thought this is what my friend might have.

The most common type of vertigo is BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo). This is an inner ear condition which can bring about sudden dizziness when the head is moved into certain positions.

Even though my friend's doctor didn't even bother to mention that dizziness could be a side effect of his hypertension medicine, I was concerned.

The pharmacist was helpful in providing information about all of the side effects (there are many and they are serious!) of my friend's medication.

Even after repeated attempts to get his doctor to explore the possiblity that his medicine could be causing his dizziness, it wasn't until he threatened to stop taking the medicine that his doctor finally prescribed something else. Yes, the dizziness went away but then a new set of side effects cropped up. This is how I ended up recommending my program.

Almost immediately my friend's blood pressure readings went down. Eventually, they returned to normal and my friend was able to get off his medication.

I recommend my High Blood Pressure program for those suffering from high blood pressure. If vertigo or dizziness is your problem, I also suggest my Vertigo and Dizziness program. It's all natural and it works!

Those who suffer from anxiety related conditions find comfort in knowing that there are a number of viable methods for treating panic attacks. If you are a panic attack sufferer, it would be to your benefit to learn as much as you can about the condition, including the options available for treatment.

Millions of people all of the world suffer from panic attacks, they are that common. Although generally most attacks are relatively mild, some can be debilitating in nature. Despite the fact that the effects of these attacks are often traumatic to the sufferer, panic attacks themselves are not life threatening.

Many individuals benefit from treatment based on the cognitive behavioral theory. This approach contends that panic attacks will occur less frequently when the patient modifies their thoughts and behavior. The main objective with this method of treating panic attacks is to teach the patient how to control their thoughts.

Many advancements have been made throughout the years in the area of pharmacology for treating panic attacks. Drug therapy is employed not only to alleviate symptoms, but to generally keep the patient calm and more relaxed on a daily basis, thereby preventing the attacks. Some of the prescription medications used today include benzodiazepines, antidepressants, serotonin and oxidase inhibitors.

Another popular approach to treating panic attacks can be self administered and doesn't require the assistance of a medical professional. This approach utilizes methods such as breathing and mind control to manage, and in many cases, even stop the symptoms.

When considering the many available methods for treating panic attacks, it is important to keep in mind things such as cost and the potential side effects that can occur with drug therapy. For many, these factors are not acceptable, and a natural alternative becomes the more preferred method for treating panic attacks.

depression is a serious condition that affects millions of people. It is a painful physical and mental state that can be debilitating. Whether a person is suffering from a mild form of depression or a full blown clinical depression, it should never be dismissed as unimportant. Depression deserves to be addressed and treated. Anyone who has suffered through an episode of depression will agree. Alternative healing practices for depression can be a very helpful and significant form of treatment.

The mistake many people make is thinking that depression is just a case of the blues. Sometimes it is but often it is not. It is actually a situation in which a persons nervous system is not working properly. It is more than just a state of mind; it is a physical condition as well. If left untreated, a low grade depression can turn into a more serious clinical depression and a more serious, more painful condition. Treating depression is very important.

However, most treatments for depression involve the use of psychotropic drugs. But, are these drugs really necessary? Does one have to be on psychiatric medicine in order to overcome depression? While in some cases the answer is yes, there are many alternative healing practices for depression.

There are a wide variety of alternative healing practices for depression that give an individual the opportunity to find one or a combination that works well for them. What might work very well for one person, might not work for another and vice versa. But the sheer quality of alternatives opens the door of possibility for at least one of them to work.

It is commonly known that exercise produces a rise in a persons endorphins. These are the very things that seem to be missing when a person is suffering from depression. Have you ever experienced a high after participating in rigorous exercise? This is your bodys positive reaction to the physical benefits of exercise. Treating depression in this way can be extremely effective.

Two other forms of alternative healing practices for treating depression are yoga and meditation. Both have the ability to restore an individuals breathing patterns to a more normal, relaxed state. This is very beneficial to those suffering from depression. The physical benefits are positive as well.

Depression can also be overcome through the use of energy therapy methods like the BodyTalk System. By using this method to uncover subconscious blocks, may people have cleared out the hidden baggage that had been weighing them down.

Positive music or entertainment can also work wonders for changing a persons mental outlook. In fact, they could be the simplest of all alternative healing practices for depression to engage in. So, why not try them out?

When considering alternative healing practices for depression, it is helpful to realize that anything that lifts your spirits is also helping treat depression. Using these practices on a regular basis may be a better alternative than medication for treating some forms of depression.
